Sid Garza-Hillman received his certification as a nutritional consultant from the Global College of Natural Medicine (www.GCNM.com). He also holds a B.A. in Philosophy from U.C.L.A. Sid’s passion for health and nutrition goes back almost 15 years. A sufferer of chronic asthma at that time (he carried around an inhaler), Sid was given “Fit for Life” by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. After reading it, he made some very quick and simple changes to his diet, and his asthma went away, never to return. Since that time, he has been a voracious reader on the nutrition until finally deciding to become formally trained in the subject. He continually places himself on the cutting edge, constantly calling into question so-called conventional wisdom and commonly held opinions regarding diet and nutrition in general.
In addition to private nutritional consulting, Sid teaches classes on basic nutrition, often partnering with Ravens’ Restaurant Executive Chef, Kyle Evans, to offer cooking demonstrations as well.
He currently lives in Fort Bragg, CA (on the Mendocino Coast) with his wife, 3 children, 2 dogs, a cat, and two Guinea Pigs…
